2.5 HDD installation

When choosing an HDD to install, select one from the list provided in “APPENDIX A DVR Compatible Hard Disk Drives” on page 113 to

ensure the best performance

2.5.1 HDD recording capacities

Interpolate the information provided in the tables below to estimate the recording capacity of your HDD and determine what

capacity of HDD will meet your recording requirements.

If installing more than one HDD in your DVR, each must be the of same brand and model. Otherwise, an HDD may not be recognized

by the DVR and can malfunction.
