Item Description
DDNS To use DDNS, open the drop-down list and select SERVER1, then click the submenu button to the right. Select ddnscenter.com
from the three DDNS servers. (If you select another DDNS server, the DVR cannot connect to the DDNS properly.)
DDNS (SERVER1): Select one of the following DDNS servers: in USA, use www.ddnscenter.com, in Korea, use www.
okddns.com, or if in the EU, or use www.bestddns.com.
DDNS INTERVAL: 5 - 60 minutes.
If you select SERVER2 from the drop-down list, you can congure the DVR to use a general-purpose DDNS server.
NETWORK STREAM Click the submenu button to open network stream setup submenu This menu is used to congure the resolution, frame rate,
and quality at which live video from each camera can stream across the network. The total data rate permissible is dependent
on the model of your DVR. Refer to the Specications section for more information. Set the preferred options using the drop-
down lists, then select OK.
3.8.1 Network ports
When you connect one or more DVRs to a network through an IP sharing device, each DVR must be assigned a unique TCP port
number for access from outside the LAN. Additionally, the IP sharing device must be congured to forward the assigned port to the
specic DVR.
NOTE
This port number is listed next to the Port menu option in the Network Setup screen. If you access the DVR only from within the
same LAN, the TCP port number does not need to be changed.
